I had interest in writing short stories and novellas in secondary school. I would bring out a brand new exercise book and write down whatever was occupying my head. It was an activity that I really enjoyed because it was a way to bring whatever was in my head down on paper and because of this, I knew I have gotten an answer to how to determine what is worth doing. I also had friends who were into writing and we would write and we had fans who were interested in reading our stories.
They would tell us before we started that they are interested and often, they had to pick numbers that determined when they would read our stories. It was a happy time and I liked the attention I and my stories got. I wasn’t the best then but I still wrote my stories because they were fulfilling to me. They made me happy and I didn’t care that I wasn’t the best. I just wanted to write and let the friends who were interested read them. During that time, I found writing worthwhile because whenever I opened my new exercise book to start writing, I felt joy and fulfillment. I knew it was something I would continue to do for a long time.

Fulfillment in whatever we do is very important and is a way to determine what we think is worth doing. What activity brings you the most happiness when you engage in them? For you to determine what is worth doing, it is important to take a survey of the things you do and check for the ones that give you the most joy. What do you see yourself doing several years from now? According to the positivityblog, check the future impact and the possible consequences.
The things that make you excited just at the thought of them. You do not have to be the best but you are willing to make yourself the best. When you determine this, you will realize that doing the things you love, even if they appear difficult, will ultimately be the best for you. Why? Because these are the areas where you will be committed to giving your best efforts and succeeding. When you determine what is worth doing, the process will be easier and you will be better. Going through this and knowing what is worth doing will also be a way to save yourself from doing pointless things and help you to be focused in what you do.
